1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Tnsyle ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal data when you use the Tnsyle mobile application (the "App") and related services at tnsyle.app.
This Policy is provided in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, together with other applicable laws. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Data Fiduciary: Tnsyle (India)
Privacy contact: privacy@tnsyle.app
The App is a fitness and wellness tool. It is not a medical device, clinical service, or substitute for professional healthcare advice.
By using the App and accepting our Terms of Service, you acknowledge this Policy. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it as described in Sections 6 and 13.
2. Personal Data We Collect and Purposes of Processing
We collect only personal data that is reasonably necessary for the purposes described below.
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account information (such as name, email address, password if you register with email, and profile picture if you provide one) — to create and manage your account and display your profile.
- Fitness data (such as workout logs, exercise preferences, body measurements, weight entries, and goals) — to provide workout tracking, progress features, and recommendations.
- User content (such as photos, notes, and comments you choose to share) — to operate social and community features you use.
- Communication data (such as messages sent through in-app social or coach features) — to provide those features.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information (such as device type, operating system, and app version) — for security, compatibility, and support.
- Usage data (such as features used, session duration, and workout patterns) — to improve features and reliability.
- Diagnostics (such as crash reports, performance metrics, and error logs) — to maintain stability and fix issues, subject to your choices in Settings → Privacy & Data where applicable.
- Location data — only if you enable location-based features (for example, GPS workout tracking).
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Sign-in providers — if you register or sign in with Google or Apple (iOS), we receive the account information those services provide (such as name, email address, and profile picture), according to your choices with that provider.
- Health platforms (optional) — data you authorize through Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iOS when you enable Health Sync under Settings → Health Integration.
2.4 Microphone and Voice (Optional)
If you use voice commands during a workout, audio is processed for speech recognition on your device or through platform speech services. We do not sell voice recordings. Local preferences may be stored on your device to improve recognition.
3. How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to:
- Provide and operate the App, including workout tracking, recommendations, and account management.
- Improve the App, including fixing bugs and enhancing features (where permitted by your settings).
- Send service communications, such as reminders and achievement notifications (which you can manage in Settings).
- Provide customer support.
- Protect the security and integrity of the App.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use fitness or health-related data for advertising profiling.
Legal bases (India): We rely on consent for optional processing (such as analytics, crash reporting, Health Sync, voice, and location) and on applicable lawful grounds under the DPDP Act, including processing necessary to provide the App when you use it.
4. How We Share Personal Data
We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We use trusted service providers to operate the App. They process personal data on our instructions and under contractual or platform terms. Our primary providers include:

4.2 Social Features
If you use social features, your profile and activity you choose to share may be visible to other users according to your settings.
4.3 Legal and Safety
We may disclose personal data if required by law, regulation, court order, or lawful request, or where necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
4.4 Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred to the successor entity with notice where required by law.
5. Storage, Security, and Retention
5.1 Storage
Personal data is stored:
- In the cloud through Google Cloud, with primary hosting in India.
- On your device where needed for offline access (for example, recent workouts).
Some processing by our service providers may occur outside India, as described in Section 10.
5.2 Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and account-based access restrictions.
5.3 Retention
- Active accounts: Personal data is retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the App.
- Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal data we control as promptly as practicable. Limited server logs or backups may persist for up to 30 days before purge.
- On-device privacy logs: Privacy preference and request logs stored on your device may be retained for up to 365 days, or until you uninstall the App or delete your account, whichever is earlier.

Delete data without closing your account: You may remove specific data in the App (for example, workouts, social posts, goals, and profile fields). You may also submit a formal deletion request in Settings → Privacy & Data → Request Data Deletion (which opens email to privacy@tnsyle.app) or email privacy@tnsyle.app directly with the data you want removed and your registered email. We will process verified requests as promptly as practicable while keeping your account active, subject to Section 5.3.
